Ingredients
8oz cream cheese
8oz semisweet chocolate, coarsely shredded
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1-2 tbsp chocolate liqueur or brandy
Fresh seasonal fruits or cookies
Directions
1. Beat cream cheese with electric beaters in a small
mixer bowl until soft and creamy.
2. Transfer cream cheese to fondue pot, add chocolate,
cream and butter. Stir over a low heat until chocolate
has melted and mixture is smooth. Add liqueur; mix well.
3. Serve fondue warm with a selection of fresh fruit
on skewers and cookies. Fondue may also be served in
a bowl and passed around on a platter for your guests
to help themselves.
